Weaving at a Memorial Service
A beloved teacher's death was a blow to an elementary school. Teens who had been to the school especially had trouble with participating in a memorial service and grieving. A school mother, Joanne Steenberg, set up an EarthLoom at the service. While many people contributed, weaving in messages and memorabilia, teens congregated around the loom. Ms. Steenberg felt it was important for them to be able to do something tangible to help process how they felt.
The loom is warped and ready for weaving.
