Kaleidoscope Arts Centre, Bermuda

Kaleidoscope Arts Centre occupies a building on spacious grounds surrounded by palmetto and the curving roads that are a hallmark of the island of Bermuda. About 700 miles due east of South Carolina, Bermuda has its own style and ecosystems. Susan Barrett Merrill was invited to spend two weeks teaching all ages at the Arts Centre, preparing an EarthLoom for weaving during the opening of the Centre's new art gallery, and siting the EarthLoom made of native wood by an indigenous Bermudian.
