Build your own EarthLoom
EarthLooms come in five sizes. Sale of items 1, 2 and 3 from the Weaving a Life website trigger a donation by Weaving a Life to the EarthLoom Foundation.
- The original EarthLoom made of logs, called the Grand EarthLoom. The world's first EarthLoom was a Grand EarthLoom at the Common Ground Country Fair. Plans for this loom are included in the EarthLoom DVD below.
- A smaller EarthLoom (6 feet high) made to be installed in your garden or playground, called the Garden EarthLoom.
- A similar-sized Story EarthLoom with stable feet that can be moved indoors or out, and is accessible for people in wheelchairs. Plans for these may be purchased for download below.
- A lap-sized Journey EarthLoom, which is light and portable, and is used for weaving the Weaving a Life keyforms. We do not provide plans for these looms. They are hand-made in Maine by loom-maker Lora Moore.
- Coming soon: the Book Loom, which is a simple loom in a notebook, with weaving accessories and instructions for students and teachers
